RYE--Tourte de Seigle(P)
This sourdough loaf has a unique-looking hard crust and a moist, lightly spiced, dense crumb – both of which are key to its long shelf life. Made with organic 100% dark Rye flour. It is intense and delicious with added caraway seed, anise and fennel.
Side note: Tourte de Seigle is a deep and earthy flavored whole grain rye bread from the Alps areas of France, Switzerland, and Germany.
Ingredients: pumpernickel rye meal flour*, wheat flour*, whole wheat flour*, spring water, fennel, caraway seeds, anise seed, Utah mined salt.
