The Bread Underground creates small batch naturally leavened artisanal bread. All our hand made bread is processed using a slow fermentation process. Made with organic/GMO-free/local ingredients and 100% Palomar Spring Water.

Founders:
Jackie and Jeff have been North County San Diego residents for the last 20+ years. Jackie's been baking bread and all things sourdough for ten years. Jeff is an absolute snob when it comes to ORGANIC Quality Ingredients & 100% Spring Water; "Your body is a temple" kinda deal. Together in our home kitchen we create small batch organic naturally leavened sourdough bread. We started delivering locally in early 2020 and have not looked back! We currently sell exclusively at farmers markets in San Diego.
